On the heels of Wanderlust, Splore and Auckland City Limits comes perhaps the last of the summer festivals. The Earth-Beat Harvest Festival runs April 1-3 at Kawai Purapura, just 20 minutes north of Auckland, and boasts an eclectic line-up of music, yoga and wellbeing practices intended to showcase a conscious community.

Key highlights on offer are Chilean aerial yoga devotee Connie Causa, whose bamboo teepee structures literally provide the framework for incredible outdoor flying experiences, and yin yoga guru Nik Robson.

The festival aims to develop awareness off the mat as much as on it, and as such will be running workshops on permaculture, Qigong, wild food and medicine of Aotearoa, amongst live music and visual art installations. A healing circle will offer a wide range of modalities, the perfect place for those wanting to sort their NLP from their kinesiology. As with Auckland City Limits children under 14 are free.
