1. Blondie and Cyndi Lauper New Zealand tour
Pull out your best 70s and 80s outfits because the iconic - in both music and style - Blondie and Cyndi Lauper are coming to town. Their double-headline tour kicks off this Saturday with the first show in Christchurch, then they head north for a show in Auckland on Easter Monday.

2. Waiheke International Jazz Festival
Celebrate Easter with a weekend full of jazz music. The festival runs across three days and is headlined by Kiwi favourite Dave Dobbyn, while other artists on the bill include Little Bushman, Miles Calder and the Rumours.

3. Wise Boys x Midnight Baker Pop Up
No plans for dinner tonight? Head to Midnight Baker to throw back a delicious plant-based burger from Wise Boys. There will be four tasty options to choose from - the Moroccan, Tempeh Trap, BBQ Pulled Jackfruit and the Kiwi - plus tasty fries and live music.

4. Alma Proenca Exhibition
Up-and-coming Auckland artist Alma Proenca's new exhibition Teu opens tonight. Her artwork explores her Portuguese heritage through ceramics, linking traditional processes with modern subjects. She will also host an artist korero on May 6 (11am-12pm), where she will talk about her art practice and share stories of travel and culture.

5. Easter Sunday Bunny Brunch
The Pullman Auckland is holding an Easter Sunday brunch at its Tapestry Dining restaurant. Expect chocolate treats, carved meats and a high tea stand with seafood, including oysters - plus hot cross bun piping and egg decorating for children.
