Aotea Square comes alive this weekend with the vibrant sights and sounds of the Diwali Festival. The square will be flooded with market stalls, food, music, live performances and DJs to celebrate traditional and contemporary Indian culture in all its forms. Diwali is New Zealand's largest vegetarian festival with loads of delicious Indian snacks and sweets on offer. Don't miss the hotly contested Bollywood dance competition, or Sunday night's fireworks display.

6lack at The Powerstation
Rising alt-RnB star Atlanta's Ricardo Valentine, better known as 6lack (pronounced black) will perform at the Powerstation on Thursday, and no doubt his platinum hit 'Prblms' off debut album Free 6lack will go off. The two-time Grammy Award nominee has recently released a long-awaited second album, East Atlanta Love Letter which features collaborations with J.Cole, Khalid and Future. If you a fan, don't miss this gig.

The Armageddon Expo at ASB Showgrounds

This Sydney-based six-piece has been making waves with their unique blend of funk, soul and hip-hop. There She Goes at Academy Cinema 
Academy Cinema will show a selection of pioneering films in the late half of the 20th century all featuring a special link.
