Tauranga Marathon
The Tauranga Marathon will get the heart rate going this Sunday as participants explore the picturesque area while pounding the pavement. If you're after something more low key, there is a wide range of runs and walks to choose from.

Into the Underworld Exhibition at Silo Park 
Auckland's hidden underground world is rising to the surface the month, as Silo Park hosts an exhibition that explores a network of caves and tunnels through 3D projections. The event will also feature a musical composition and a recent documentary showcasing over 200 caves across the city.

Mr. Burns at Q Theatre 
This comedic dark tale follows the aftermath of an apocalyptic event, as a group of young strangers try and take their mind off the dire reality by piecing together an episode of The Simpsons  the only memory they share. The play follows the group in the present and asks 'what now?' of the future.

Retail Therapy at Basement Theatre 
This funny play is the new work of local playwright Grace-Amelia Vernal. It's all based on her real-life experience working in a fancy clothing store.

Feast Matakana has kicked off, where you can taste the best of the Matakana region. The foodie festival has a great line-up of events, including feast celebrity lunches with guest chefs, special dinners, and the upcoming Oyster and Wine Festival and weekly Farmers Market on during this time.

Join playwright and actor Acacia O'Connor in this captivating play as she drags her own personal life mess into the light and has a good healthy laugh about it. Brockhampton at Logan Campbell Centre 
Hip hop group Brockhampton will play an all-ages gig for their first NZ show, as part of their current world tour. The self-proclaimed "boy band" rose to popularity last year with their Saturation album trilogy, with the second in the series peaking at 35 in the NZ Top 40 charts.

Craft Chocolate Pop-up at Ponsonby Central 
Taste and buy the best of local craft chocolate and return in the evenings for ticketed tasting events where chocolate will be paired with Eight Thirty coffee, Fine and Dandy Tea and Six-Barrel Soda. The makers will be on site to meet and share free daytime talks and new chocolate maker, Foundry Chocolate, will have a tasting premiere.
