Nina Compton at Soul Bar
The flavours of New Orleans hit Soul Bar this August, with esteemed restaurateur Nina Compton (2018 James Beard Best Chef South Winner) taking over the kitchen for one night only for 'A Taste of New Orleans with Nina Compton'. Her five-course, family-style dinner will pair Southern cuisine with local produce. The Soul team has also been challenged to create a New Orleans-inspired menu available throughout the month.

Auckland Vintage Textile Fair
Calling all fabric lovers (and hoarders) you won't want to miss the largest display of genuine vintage textiles, garments and related accessories for sale in Australasia on show this Sunday. Wise Boys Pop-up at Midnight Baker
Satisfy your vegan fast food cravings at this pop-up at Midnight Baker on Thursday. Dig into their classic burger menu featuring crispy tofu and Moroccan kumara, or the crowd favourite barbecue jackfruit burger with fries and signature aioli. You can get cosy and eat in or take it away to the couch.

Farro Fresh Birthday Party

Chef William Mordido is taking over Ponsonby’s Gypsy Caravan with his pop-up restaurant Buko, where he will serve up six courses of Filipino- and New Zealand-inspired dishes, along with Noble & Savage teas and enticing mocktails.

Were Bros Pop-up at Coffee Pen
Toast angels Were Bros will plate up their slices at a pop-up at Coffee Pen for breakfast this Sunday, along with (of course) coffee and chocolate cookies. Also available to buy will be Were Bros’ hand-cast mugs, hand-knitted cloths, and bags.
