The Auckland Heritage Festival 
The Auckland Heritage Festival will hold over 200 events throughout Auckland with this year's theme Ngā iwi o Tāmaki Makaurau celebrating local heritage and the diverse communities that have shaped the city. Check out exhibitions, walks, talks, a vintage market day and tours including a particular highlight, The Women of Karangahape Road. The free walking event will explore the significant influence that women had in creating the culture and identity of one of Auckland's oldest streets, in celebration of the 125th anniversary of women's suffrage.

Fabric-A-Brac
Fabric lovers should check out this year's Fabric-A-Brac event which will have modern and vintage fabric on offer from designer and private collections. Live music and a fundraising cafe from the Mercy Hospice will provide tea and treats.

La Pêche Dinner Pop-up at Dear Jervois
In what started as a supper club in their Paris apartment, Emma Ogilvie and Nick Landsman have turned their love of no-fuss French food into a welcoming pop-up venture, La Pêche, in Auckland. After a recent two-week stint at K Rd's Love Bucket, their next event at Dear Jervois is set to be their biggest yet. Staying true to their neo-bistro style, they will serve a short menu of seasonal shared plates (which will vary depending on market availability and whim), alongside natural wines. Follow @lapechepopup for updates.

Dire Straits at ASB Theatre
