Internationally acclaimed graffiti artist Elliot O'Donnell aka Askew One is putting his creative talents to charitable use, designing a one-off Sealy Posturepedic bed to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Foundation. The bed, featuring a spray painted geometric design, will sit alongside those designed by World's Denise L'Estrange-Corbet, fashion designer Juliette Hogan and interior designer LeeAnne Yare, available to bid on via Trade Me. The auctions run until October 28, with all proceeds donated to the foundation to aid research and development - bid on Askew's here.

Between painting eight-storey murals in Glasgow for the Commonwealth Games and attending mural festivals in Tahiti, O'Donnell is currently enjoying relaxing at home and planning his next adventure to the "Hitting the Bricks" mural festival in Australia's Newcastle.

He shares some of his favourite local weekend spots.

Drinking... If I'm not heading out to an art exhibition or an opening of some sort, I usually have a quiet drink at home with my partner Olivia and friends.

Dining... Locally, we like to go toThe Chang Gaow on the corner of Onehunga Mall and Princes St. It's family owned, they're super sweet and it's affordable.

Visiting... We've just had Art Week, so have had an abundance of art happenings. We always get along and support our friends when they exhibit.

Discovering... We have our regular places we go, but would like to see more space for entertainment in the city.

Brunching... For cafe food it's a tie between Cosset in Mt Albert and Kokako in Grey Lynn. They have good vegetarian food.

Loving... Home. It's been my place of recovery after my overseas projects.

Relaxing... I'm generally into things related to art, there's a lot that goes on behind the scenes, including reading and researching your ideas.
