Take a look at a few of the afternoon radio host's favourite spots.

Discovering ... After aaaaages I finally got out to The Tasting Shed, which is amazing! Good As Gold, the iconic Wellington/NZ store just opened on Ponsonby Rd, which is massive for Auckland - the owners Ruben and Ash are always on point.

Drinking ... At Swashbucklers down on the water, Monteiths Black from the taps.

Class it up on occasion with a rose at SPQR or tuck into a Lion Red crate bottle atBurger Burger.

Trying ... Really want to try out that trampoline world, Jump in East Tamaki. Looks like heaps of fun.

Mornings ... Five Loaves Cafe, half and half for chilli scrambled eggs and mince on toast. Dizengoff, half and half eggs and mushrooms or the Marc Moore special if I'm feeling like something healthy.

Relaxing ... Surfing at PihaMuriwai or Black Swamp in Northland; riding my Harley anywhere.

Dining ... Burger Burger and Bird on a Wire are weekly stops, along with Ponsonby Food Court: Balinese Joint and panang curry from the Thai place and roti from Malaysian. SPQRPonsonby Road BistroMexico and Ibisu often get a tickle.

Going ... Riding out to Piha Cafe for breakfast or a pizza at Cheltenham Beach.Muriwai is always awesome, too.

Anticipating ... I heard a sneaky rumour that an incredible motor sport event run by Red Bull is coming back to Auckland, if the rumours are true I'm gonna lose the plot. Laneway Festival, and the tennis early next year will be awesome.
