1. Camp Cove Swim
This is swimwear that will pull on your nostalgic heartstrings, with 70s influenced colours, prints and silhouettes. The Sydney-based brand specialises in 'cheeky cut' bikini bottoms, but also offer high waisted briefs and one-pieces, all with an "appreciation of the booty". Bikini top, about $85, and bottoms, about $90. campcoveswim.com

Contributing fashion editor at Russh Ilona Hamer launched her line with sister Peta Heinsen earlier this year, with actress and model Phoebe Tonkin appearing in the campaign. She wears the Matteau Swim bikini top and bottom, about $105 each. matteau-swim.com

3. Rye
Focusing on colourful bikini separates made to be mixed and matched, Alyssa Carter and Bonnie O'Hare launched Rye in May, with the campaign shot at their local Sydney beaches, Bronte and Clovelly. We love this classic bikini top with striped elastic, about $90. ryeresort.com
