Open now is the first New Zealand store from Seed Heritage, in a beautiful new 300sq m flagship at 100 Ponsonby Rd. It’s the latest international brand to expand into the local market, with the opening of Topshop last month and FCUK set to arrive in coming weeks.

Launched in Melbourne in 2000, Seed Heritage has become known for its accessible, sophisticated take on trends think great, modern workwear. With more than 100 Seed Heritage stores in Australia, and six in Hong Kong, New Zealand was a natural progression for the brand, says general manager Denise Haughey.

Locally, fashion insiders have long loved the brand’s loafers, buying them online or on trips to Australia. Now the full range will be available in-store, along with clothing and accessories for women, teens, children and babies. And good news for other centres more Seed Heritage stores are planned around New Zealand.

• Rochelle wears Seed Heritage knit top, $179.90, pencil skirt, $119.90, and metallic clutch $69.90. Ph (09) 376 3850.
