Chances of receiving a little blue box tied with a white ribbon may become that much greater with a standalone Tiffany & Co. confirmed to open in Auckland’s Britomart.
Due to open in late 2016, this is the first New Zealand location for the internationally renowned jeweller.
Approximately 430 square metres in size, the new store will occupy the entire ground floor of Australis House on Customs St. Heritage architects will supervise the interior renovations, as the location, built in 1903, is part of the Historic Places Trust.
The retail giant follows in the footsteps of other high-end brands, such as Prada and Dior, which opened stores in Auckland’s CBD last year.
Tiffany & Co. has previously been available at DFS Galleria.
