Wednesdays Espresso
This inner-city gem is the perfect pit stop for office workers or students on the run. If you can nab a seat, it's great for people watching too. Expect strong Kokako brews and chipper service.

Daily Daily
This narrow spot on K Rd is beautifully designed and has a long sharing table (conducive to making new pals) as well as a nook by the window. They serve Coffee Supreme and decorate the space with plenty of details to admire.

Goodness Gracious
This is a dream weekend (or any day) breakfast spot for bagel lovers. Grab a spot at one of the mini tables and enjoy a perfect coffee and a bagel loaded with scrumptious toppings.

Coffee Pen
Go for the coffee, stay for the pie. As well as their expertly brewed coffee, this cafe's loyal fans can attest to their baking skills and homemade-style treats.

Fort Greene
Top-notch sandwiches are the name of the game at Fort Greene. Take your pick from their delicious menu and head up the stairs for a cosy bird's eye view of the petite cafe.

Vulcan Lane Bagels
Things are kept nice and simple at this hole-in-the-wall spot, where they serve Atomic coffee alongside delightful bagels. There's only a tiny table to perch on so you may have to snack on the go if it's busy.
