Meatball Monday
Because who can be bothered cooking on a Monday night? Christchurch is very lucky to have a special meatball delivery service feeding the inner suburbs each week. There's always a veggie option to choose from, and both options come on a bed of pasta and topped with a delicious tomato sauce, crunchy breadcrumbs, parmesan and herbs. They're on a break at the moment but will be taking orders again in a couple of weeks.
Delivered from 1.30pm-4.30pm on Mondays. Email Ordermeatballs@gmail.com or visit Instagram.com/meatball_monday

No Car Cargo
As the name suggests, this service (who works mostly business to business) does away with cars, and therefore nasty emissions, instead delivering goods by bike. No Car Cargo is making the most of Wellington's relatively flat CBD and don't have a need to use plastic wrap, bags, or courier stickers. They are currently working with businesses such as Nikau Cafe, Fix & Fogg, Wellington Chocolate Factory and Peoples Coffee.
Couriering Monday-Friday. Visit Nocarcargo.co.nz

The Kai Box
If you're put off plant-based food because of how tricky it seems, The Kai Box might be for you. Choose from a couple or family box (with a gluten-free option available for both) and they'll supply all the ingredients and recipes needed for four weekly meals. There's a new menu each week and you can order a one-off box or subscribe to have it delivered weekly.
Orders are taken two weeks in advance. Visit Thekaibox.co.nz
