For my final lot of baking, I've added white chocolate and cranberries to a basic biscuit recipe to create a Christmas feel. You can, of course, use this mix all year round and add chocolate chips, peanuts, raisins or whatever else is in the cupboard.

WHITE CHOCOLATE AND CRANBERRY BISCUITS
Makes 20 biscuits

• 125g softened butter
• ½ cup sugar
• 1 tsp golden syrup
• 1 cup flour
• 1 tsp baking powder
• ½ cup cranberries
• ½ cup white chocolate bits

1. Preheat oven to 160C. Line an oven tray with baking paper.

2. Cream the butter, sugar and golden syrup until light and fluffy. Add the flour, baking powder, cranberries and chocolate mixing through until combined well.

3. Place teaspoons on to your baking tray and place into the oven for 20 minutes or until cooked. Remove and cool on a wire rack.
