Celebrity Beauty Looks We Love 05/11/18

It was a battle of the brunettes for this week’s best in beauty

ANNE HATHAWAY

Glossy hair, fluffy brows, pink lips… there’s a lot to love about Anne Hathaway’s beauty look at the 22nd Annual Hollywood Film Awards.

Our glass hair prediction was on the money here, with Anne’s coffee-coloured tresses separated into a centre part and smoothed to perfection. Princess Mia of Genovia would be proud.

ROONEY MARA

Mary Magdalene actress Rooney Mara shared the spotlight with sister Kate while walking the red carpet at the Animal Equality’s Inspiring Global Action Los Angeles Gala at The Beverly Hilton Hotel.

The fresh-faced beauty presented a flawless base with groomed brows and minimal mascara. For lips, Rooney wore a soft crimson shade, in a nod to the powdered lip trend.

SHAILENE WOODLEY

Despite her stony-faced appearance in this snap, Shailene Woodley was all smiles at the 22nd Annual Hollywood Film Awards this week.

The 26-year-old actress has proven she’s somewhat of a chameleon when it comes to her hair, this time debuting choppy, chocolate-hued bangs which sat low over her brows.

SOPHIA BUSH

If you can look past the ill-fitting leopard print blazer, you’ll realise Sophia Bush’s beauty look at the 22nd Annual Hollywood Film Awards was worth a second glance.

Cashing in on the cut-crease trend, Sophia’s makeup artist used a light gold eyeshadow over Sophia’s eyelid and in her inner corners. A creamy brown shade was blended into the crease and up towards the outer corner for a demi cat-eye effect. Double points for expertly blending her foundation out downwards her décolleté, too.

SYLVIA HOEKS

Who says bald heads can’t be sexy? Dutch actress Sylvia Hoeks showed off her perfectly shaped head at The Girl In The Spider’s Web photo call during the 13th Rome Film Festival at Auditorium Parco Della Musica in Rome.

Her ultra-feminine features prevented her lack of hair from looking too severe – most notably, her signature full pout was played up with a slick of peach lip gloss. A subtle blend of taupe and bronze hues complemented her deep brown eyes, while a dusty rose shade added a level of ruddiness to her cheeks.
