JEAN PAUL GAULTIER La Belle Le Parfum 100ml eau de parfum, $227
What it is: Equal parts charming and seductive, take a walk in the garden of sin with this insatiable scent. Developed by perfumers Quentin Bisch and Sonia Constant, this tempting juice is housed in Jean Paul Gaultier’s iconic silhouetted bottle, this time reimagined in shades of pink and red.
Fragrance family: Aromatic
What it smells like: Top notes of juicy green pear, a heart of jasmine, bergamot and tonka bean and a warming base of vanilla and almond.

JULIETTE HAS A GUN Pear Inc 100ml eau de parfum, $249
What it is: Taking its inspiration from founder Romano Ricci’s childhood memories and his favourite fruit, this fruity fragrance evokes the mischief and laughter of a summertime picnic under a sun-soaked pergola.
Fragrance family: Aromatic-Fruity
What it smells like: As the name suggests, the fragrance opens with top notes of green pear, a heart of ambroxan (a molecule with strong woody-amber aromas) and a base of musk and ambrettolide (a fine musk).

ASTIER DE VILLATTE Commune de Paris 150ml eau de cologne, $249
What it is: A subversive and unique cologne designed with the rebels of this world in mind. It bursts forth with frothy and acidic citrus notes, before revealing a powdery, charming characteristic.
Fragrance family: Citrus
What it smells like: Top notes of Sicilian lemon, rosemary and bergamot, a heart of pink pepper extract and lavender absolute, and a base of suave labdanum, benzoin (which has balsamic qualities), cedar wood, vetiver and patchouli combined with two of the first man-made synthetic fragrance molecules: coumarin (which smells like cut grass) and benzaldehyde (almond-like).

DIPTYQUE Ilio 100ml eau de toilette, $225
What it is: To celebrate the brand’s 60th anniversary, this limited-edition fragrance is reminiscent of long summer days spent in the Mediterranean, a location Diptyque’s co-founders were said to visit often. Spiked with green, fruity aromas, the bottle is adorned with a colourful illustration by artist Luke Edward Hall to further enhance the summertime vibe.
