Hollywood's biggest night is upon us, and with it brings plenty of opportunities to swoon over the glamorous ensembles and wow-worthy beauty looks donned by the celebrity set as they take to the red carpet.
But believe us when we say each star's glowing complexion is no accident — there are many steps that lead up to their red carpet glam moment, be it the Oscars, a premiere, or any other star-studded event.
Lucky for them, these A-listers have the biggest names in hair, makeup and skin to help with their glow-up, and many of which offered up a behind-the-scenes look at their getting-ready process on social media.
Below, we chart the attendees' efforts to get red-carpet ready, every bit ensuring they shine as bright as the red carpet lights.
The tennis star couldn't hide her excitement over presenting this year's awards with this fun behind-the-scenes video she shared to TikTok.

Farzana Zaman (@zanabeauty_) has been Serena's makeup artist on speed dial for years, and worked with a selection of products from heavyweight beauty brands including NARS, Urban Decay, Gucci Beauty, Stila, M.A.C, Benefit Cosmetics and Natasha Denona to create Serena's soft matte makeup and laminated brow look.
"Getting ready for the Oscars Awards," she captioned her video. "Hair, makeup and wigs."
The comedian, who is co-hosting this year's festivities alongside Wanda Sykes and Regina Hall, booked in with A-list esthetician Georgia Louise (@georgialouisesk) for a facial before Oscars Sunday.
Alongside Amy, Georgia Louise is the trusted expert responsible for the glowing complexions of the likes of Reese Witherspoon and Cate Blanchett, and she played an integral role in getting both of these beauties red-carpet ready for the SAG Awards earlier in 2022.
TRACEE ELLIS ROSS
After posting a bare-faced video to her Instagram stories and teasing she was going as something a little "fresh" for the Oscars (she did look impeccable even without a scrap of foundation on), Tracee Ellis Ross wowed in a striking red lip created by celebrity makeup artist Molly Greenwald (@mollygreenwald).
Working with Byredo makeup, Molly kept the rest of Tracee's look relatively minimal, while hairstylist Marcia Hamilton swept hair back into a sleek chignon.
The Tick, Tick... Boom! actress and presenter shared a snap to her Instagram stories of her visit to esteemed esthetician Joanna Vargus (@joannavargus) for a pre-party pamper with her precious pooch Darla in tow.
Joanna is no stranger to readying celebrities for awards season, and her clientele includes the likes of Greta Gerwig, Elisabeth Moss, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Dakota Johnson, Emma Roberts, Eva Mendes and Debra Messing.
We couldn't help but chuckle at Alana Haim's snap of her wearing an LED Face Mask inside a taxi. She backed this up with another Freddy Kruger-esque pic of her with a sheet mask on while having her hair blow-dried.
Full credit to Body Sauce Body Luminizing Tint by Fenty Beauty for Laverne Cox's illuminated limbs! The glowing formula was expertly applied by twice Emmy-nominated makeup artist Deja Smith (@theladydeja), who prepped Laverne for the red carpet alongside hairstylist Cesar DeLeon Ramirez.
Ahead of his Oscars red carpet hosting gig, TV personality and celebrity stylist Brad Goreski booked in for a Face Infusion Facial at popular skin clinic Skin Design London (@skindesignlondon).
The treatment includes microneedling, which Brad explained helps boost collagen and hydration stores in the skin by creating tiny traumas on the skin's surface (bravo, Brad!).
The results? Well, they speak for themselves.
"A little Oscars prep with The Beauty Sandwich," Kourtney narrated her Instagram story in the chair with one of Hollywood's most in-demand facialists, Ivan Pol (@thebeautysandwich).
The famous $850USD Beauty Sandwich treatment remains a popular pick with the likes of Cara Delevingne and Salma Hayek.
Not one to miss out on the fun, Marvel actor Simu Liu showed off a boomerang of him donning a red Versace robe while a makeup artist applied concealer to his under-eyes.
"It's today!" he excitedly captioned the Instagram story.
