Visit An Anthology of Bags
“I’ve been making bags, I’m surprised to realise, for twenty years,” writes artist Vita Cochran, who is now opening An Anthology of Bags, an exhibition showcasing her carriers. “This show brings together 40 of them: a collection, an anthology of bags. There are flower bags, zip bags, bargello tapestry bags. Rope bags and bags made of triangles.” Open from Wednesday, December 1, from 11am, to December 18. Spread over three weeks, with seven sessions in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, cinephiles will be treated to a surprise film on arrival.
