1. Kelmarna Plant Sale
Support this inner-city oasis by visiting their Spring Plant Sale, and take away some organic seedlings to get your vege garden looking lush. There will be plants the team have lovingly raised, seeds to sprout yourself, as well as Miller's coffee, home baking, and guided walks around the gardens.

2. Georgia Alice Sample Sale
This Friday, Georgia Alice are set to host one of their rare sample sales, in the foyer of their new offices. This event is always proves popular and is a great chance to get your hands on some samples and enjoy a drink with Georgia herself. Georgia Alice will also be offering customers the chance to try and purchase current season items on the night.

3. Live Well Festival
If you're looking forward to a healthy and vital summer, don't miss this weekend's Live Well Festival which runs from 9am-4pm on both Saturday and Sunday at The Cloud on Queens Wharf, in the city. Start each day at LiveWell with a meditation or yoga empowerment class, join a discussion on what is really in our food, have a free massage, take part in a workshop about mindfulness for emotion, try a pilates or barre class, and learn how to cook healthy delicious food. There is a line-up of top health and wellbeing experts leading the weekend from Megan May of Little Bird Unbakery, nutrionalist Nellie Piggot, psychologist Dr Chantal Hofsee, Clean Paleo's Art Green, and Master Chef winner Aaron Brunet to ensure you stay inspired and motivated.

4. Orchids
Part of the Tempo Dance Festival, Orchids explores the meanings and mythologies associated with the orchid flower, and looks closely at how women at different stages negotiate their lives and relationships. Choreographer Sarah Foster-Sproull has worked with artists, designers and a cast of seven dancers to create a rich visual experience, which explores the female spirit and "secrets of feminine magic".

5. Everything is Surrounded By Water
This show by Uther Dean has garnered high praise for masterful storytelling and a command of beautifully poetic language. Intriguingly described as an "almost true tale of souls, sadness and cephalopods", the talented performer also has a second show on at The Basement, A Public Airing of Grievances  thanks to a special deal, you can catch both for just $30.

6. Die! Die! Die!
To celebrate the release of their newly released album Charm. Offensive., Die! Die! Die! are embarking on a tour around the country. In Auckland, they're set to play at K'Road's Whammy Bar with Purple Pilgrims and The Beths  a show not to be missed!

7. Auckland Art Gallery Artist Talk: Judy Millar
Currently on display in the Auckland Art Gallery's South Atrium, Judy Millar's huge, specially commissioned work Rock Drop, looks as though it "changes and morphs" depending on where you view it from. This is an amazing chance to hear from one of New Zealand's top artists as she discusses this unique work in a free talk.

8. Lululemon Warehouse Sale
If you wear activewear everywhere, or are a dedicated gym bunny, this one's for you. Lululemon are having a massive warehouse sale where you'll be able to nab some new items for a sweet price. Make sure you get in quick  stock isn't expected to hang around for long.
