Grammy Award-winning artist Ms Lauryn Hill is celebrating twenty years of her anthemic debut solo album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill with a world tour. She will return to New Zealand this weekend for an unmissable show at Spark Arena, with special guest Nas.

Napier Art Deco Festival
The Art Deco Festival will take place in Napier this weekend, attracting around 40,000 people to the annual event. The fabulous week-long party invites attendees to dress in their finest era-appropriate clothes for over 350 events which include a Gatsby inspired party and a vintage car parade with 300 cars, and a vintage fly over of old planes. This year sees a special theme of fashion, with a range of events showcasing 1930's attire including a runway show, a  'Festival Style Hub' marque where visitors can get their hair and makeup glammed up, and a Fashion speaker series.

BBQ Masterclass with Charlie McKenna at Hallertau Brewery
Get saucy when BBQ expert Charlie McKenna comes to town. The American chef behind the famous Lillie's Q restaurants in Chicago and California and award-winning Lillie's Q range of BBQ sauces and rubs will share his BBQ expertise at a very special one-off masterclass prior to sizzling up a storm at meat and music festival Meatstock. Held at Hallertau Brewery in Riverhead on Friday February 15, tickets include three hours of grilling, a beer on arrival, tastings of signature dishes from Lillie's Q, and a take-home pack including the self-made BBQ rub and a bottle of Lillie's Q sauce.

Get Set For Splore
The entertainment line-up is out now for next weekend's big music and performance festival Splore at Tapapakanga Park. To celebrate the festival's 20th birthday, the line-up includes local favourites Holli Smith, The Beths, King Kapsisi, Jess B, MIss June, as well as international acts DJ Marky and Jungle Brothers (to name a few) - so start organising the gang now. Splore has over 100 music and performance acts to enjoy as well as 15 art projects staged throughout Tapapakanga Park. Don't forget to book in for a few of the onsite Wellness events too.

La Pêche at Annabel's 
French pop-up La Pêche and Annabel's are joining forces to give Auckland a taste of la dolce vita in new event series, La Cave. Head to the three Lamps Bar for afternoons to evenings of modern French-inspired food, natural wine, craft beer, and cocktails, and sometimes stalls ranging from vintage fashion records, and plants. The first La Cave will launch this Saturday afternoon, and stick around for an additional party from 8pm for a special wine list and DJ set. The launch party will be followed up by the first official La Cave event on March 23rd.

Takapuna Food, Wine & Music Festival at Smales Farm
Find New Zealand wine, craft breweries, top eateries and food vendors, art, entertainment and more at Takapuna's fiesta this weekend. On the menu is Miss Moonshine's, Vege Bang Bang, Judge Bao, Puha & Pakeha, Double Dutch Fries, Napoli Pizza, Lalele Organic Gelato, Ha Poke! and Taco Loco. Wash it down with tipples from Cloudy Bay, Man O War, Peregrine, Wither Hills, Garage Project and more. Music by Sneaky Sound System, Tiki Taane, Nathan Haines will bring the grooves.
