Catch the last runways of Fashion Week, unmissable designer pop-ups, and K Rd's biggest music event of the year

The Others Way 
If throbbing catwalk soundtracks are doing your head in, then make a break for The Others Way going down across K Rd on Friday night. The much-anticipated Auckland music festival returns for its fourth year running and this year’s line-up features the best of local indie, electronica, hip-hop and pop. More than 40 acts will perform including The Beths, Die! Die! Die!, High Beams, Estere, and Purple Pilgrims, at venues such as Galatos, Whammy, Neck of the Woods and Cross St Markets. With so much on offer it's best to pick and choose what you’d like to see, eavesdrop in on what’s being hyped by cool festival-goers and try out a few random acts along the way.

Mrs. Krishnan's Party
It's the final weekend to catch this joyous, heart-warming play about Mrs Krishnan and her family. Theatre review called it “hilarious, touching and rewarding.”

Trio Designer Pop-up at Ponsonby Central
Jason Lingard, Cathy Pope Jewellery and Kate of Arcadia will join forces at a special pop up during Fashion Week at Ponsonby Central. The designers will have their latest collections available and best sellers from previous seasons, sale and sample stock. Plus, they will likely be onsite throughout the week for a chance to get first-hand advice on how to wear them best.

This much-anticipated and charming romcom is adapted from Kevin Kwan’s bestselling novel and follows a poor girl who finds her Prince Charming and then enters the glitzy world of Singapore elite.

Zambesi Public Runway Show at NZFW
For the first time ever, Zambesi is opening their fashion week runway show to the public to present their SS18/19 men and women collection on the weekend.

Whiskey Masterclass at Annabel's 
If you want that weekend buzz to hang on a little longer, book into Three Lamps favourite bar Annabel's for an appreciation of whiskey masterclass and tasting with a selection of seven Glenfiddich whiskies.

Sons of Zion at The Powerstation 
The reggae, rock, dub and funk six-piece crew Sons of Zion will take the Powerstation stage on Friday night as part of their seven-date nationwide tour.

iD Presented by Otago Polytechnic & Dunedin NZ at NZFW
The showcase of iD Dunedin at this year's Fashion Week marks the first time the strong pool of southern talent will take a national fashion stage altogether. Showing Saturday will be past collections from iD Dunedin Fashion Week’s Emerging Designer Awards including Wilbur Hsu, Ariane Ilagan and April Gourdie, presented alongside collections from top Dunedin designers, including NOM*d, Twenty-Seven Names, MAAIKE, Darlene Gore, Tanya Carlson and Mild-Red.

Cinema Italiano Festival
The annual Italian film festival kicks off this week, and this year's third edition promises to be the biggest and best yet. The Bridgeway cinema will screen contemporary and old classics for over a week to bring a slice of European sunshine to dreary Auckland days. Buona visione!

Hej Hej Pop up at Endemic World 
Local clothing label Hej-hej (pronounced “hey-hey”) has a knack for designing instant classics and their range is made from 100 per cent linen. The brand was created by friends Alice Isles and Kirsten Judd, who manage a long-distance working relationship from their respective bases of Auckland and Shanghai. This week the brand will have a special pop up at Endemic World.
