This month we celebrated women at The Viva Sessions High Tea with Dilmah, an event that brought together an inspiring panel of speakers to deliver thought-provoking conversation, teamed with high tea-style refreshments.

Guests gathered at Mantells on the Water in Auckland to hear from keynote speaker Collette Dinnigan, a globally acclaimed designer with New Zealand roots who wowed the crowd with her inspiring story of how she became a fashion phenomenon, the risks she took along the way and the adventures leading up to her success.

Stacey Morrison was the event MC who moderated an empowering conversation around how women can harness their unique qualities and transform them into positive drivers in their lives. I was joined on the panel by an impressive line-up of talented women including Collette, Dr Hinemoa Elder and Minnie Baragwanath (CEO of Be.Accessible).

And what would a high tea be without refreshments? We enjoyed a decadent afternoon tea as well as Dilmah tea-infused cocktails designed specifically for the event, a jelly feasting table and an exclusive look at Collette Dinnigan’s latest eyewear range from SpecSavers.

This fantastic event sold out in six days with unprecedented ticket requests, which means now is the time to pencil in the next Viva Sessions event to be held in spring 2018.

You can also subscribe to the Viva newsletter to receive the latest event announcements and updates (as well as all the latest fashion and beauty news from Viva), as the next session is sure to be a sell-out too.

We would like to thank our wonderful sponsors Dilmah and Specsavers, as well as our event partners Sisters Wines, Veuve Clicquot, Victoria Park Flowers, who all made this a truly special event for our women.

See you at the next event!
