Super Mizu is an online vintage store that has individually sourced designer garments from Tokyo. Find pre-loved pieces from Comme des Garçons, Issey Miyake, and Balenciaga. They're at a higher price point than some secondhand clothing boutiques but consider these as investment pieces to love — the always-edited collection serves as a timely reminder to buy less and choose well.

Tango specialises in high-quality items bought from Europe and all over New Zealand, and owner Driss Lambaraa is one of the most passionate vintage aficionados in the city.

A fixture on Ponsonby Road, this upmarket secondhand clothing store has recently had a facelift and the selection seems better than ever. They have bright, spacious and tidy racks full of secondhand treasures with lots of designer pieces to be picked up for a great price. And its High Street store has recently added more changing rooms which means much less waiting time. Tatty’s sells women's, men's, shoes, accessories and childrenswear on your behalf too.
