It’s always worth your while visiting Palais de Tokyo and the Pompidou. This trip we found an extension of the Pompidou – Atelier Brancusi, set up as the artist’s studio.

Palais de Tokyo, 13 Avenue du Président Wilson, 75116 Paris.

The Centre Pompidou, Place Georges-Pompidou, 75004 Paris. Visit Centrepompidou.fr/en.

Stay

Each season we stay at Hotel Amour. It’s a boutique hotel with warm, friendly staff who are super accommodating. It has a typically French restaurant and courtyard which is always packed and vibrant.

Hotel Amour, 8 Rue de Navarin, 75009 Paris.

Shop

Les Puces (also known as the Paris Flea Market) is one of my favourite places in Paris. It’s filled with original designer furniture. Although it’s torture that you can’t bring it all home with you, it’s the best to place to source inspiration for your home.

Les Puces, 99 Allée des Rosiers, 93400 Saint-Ouen, Paris.

We had to make a stop at our favorite French designer Lemaire. The store is beautiful and unfussy, quietly tucked away in Le Marais.

Lemaire, 28 Rue de Poitou, 75003 Paris.

Eat

Best Dinner Spot: Liza

We discovered Liza through a Lebanese friend in Paris. We recommend getting the set menu; it’s the best selection of dips, breads and meats. Make sure you make a booking! It’s always packed.

Liza, 14 Rue de la Banque, 75002 Paris. Visit Restaurant-liza.com

Best Lunch Spot: Paris Farmers’ Market

When we touch down we like to visit the local corner stores or the farmers market to buy some fresh produce, charcuterie, cheese or natural wine.

Aligre Market, Rue d’Aligre et, Place d’Aligre, 75012 Paris.

Imbibe

Paris’ Top Wine Bars:

Some of the most delicious tapas we have had were from Le Dauphin. These were washed down with the local cocktail called the Parisiano, a French twist on an Aperol Spritz.

Le Dauphin, 131 Avenue Parmentier, 75011 Paris. Visit Restaurantledauphin.net.

La Buvette de Camille, 67 Rue Saint-Maur, 75011 Paris

Frenchie, 5 Rue du Nil, 75002 Paris. Visit Frenchie-ruedunil.com.
