Celebrity Looks Of The Week: Stay Home Edition
As celebrities around the world are setting a good example and staying indoors, they're also inspiring us with what they're wearing
Getting dressed to spend the day inside might seem counter-intuitive to some, but it's a great way to stay in routine and get yourself motivated for the day.
As we all collectively try to combat the spread of Covid-19 around the world, celebrities are urging their sizeable numbers of social media followers to stay indoors — and demonstrating how to look good while doing so.
From Italian mega-influencer Chiara Ferragni in rainbow brights to actress Tracee Ellis Ross in a jumpsuit and Ugg-boots, here are the stars making staying home look good this week:
We'll be channelling this look for our next video meeting — pristine silk shirt, gold necklace and no pants.
Maybe not one for a video meeting (come back to us in two weeks about that, though) but we'll be taking notes from singer Dua Lipa and her boyfriend Anwar Hadid and engaging in a little self-care face mask session.
A fool-proof way to make loungewear look chic and purposeful — wear a matching set. Head of fashion at Instagram Eva Chen is wearing a minimal, neutrally-toned set by Mango.
Tracee Ellis Ross
Pick a pose and work whatever you're wearing — that's the advice we're taking from the always-upbeat Tracee in a khaki jumpsuit and very essential Ugg boots.
When no one else is inside your house, you can broadcast one flossy part of your outfit and your friends and colleagues need never know what the rest of your ensemble entails. For Derek, head of fashion and beauty partnerships at YouTube, that's a pair of Gucci loafers. His bedroom decor is seriously envy-inducing too.
With Italy being the worst-affected country outside of China by the virus, Italian influencer Chiara has been using her huge platform to raise money and awareness in her home country. Here she shares a rainbow moment in a jumper from her own fashion label, on day 17 of quarantine.
Swedish model Elsa Hosk looks cute and comfy in a cardigan and embellished Gucci trousers for an arts and crafts session. We like how's she's polished her look with a pair of statement earrings — a small detail that can certainly boost the mood.
