This year marks 20 years of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia, and we're excited to announce that Kate Sylvester returns to the schedule this year. The designer, who took a break from MBFWA last year, will head to Sydney in April to show her spring/summer 2015 collection.

This season she will work with top Australian stylist Naomi Smith, the Fashion Director at Harper's Bazaar Australia, known for her slick, sophisticated aesthetic. "About the same time that we decided to do a show in Sydney, I was looking back at a couple of really beautiful shoots Naomi did for Doingbird magazine," Kate explains, "I thought I'd love to see what she'd do with a Kate Sylvester collection, and so now we'll find out!"

For years the designer has worked with long-time collaborator and stylist Karen Inderbitzen-Waller; we're intrigued to see Naomi's take too. Kate, pictured here backstage at NZ Fashion Week last year, will show in Sydney on April 15.

In other great Kate news: select pieces from her new winter collection have started to arrive in store, with more coming in the next few weeks.
