1. Children of Promise
The debut collection from this Wellington-based label is made up of trans-seasonal locally silk tops. The best part? 10 per cent from each purchase will be donated to The Sanctuary House, a Wellington charity that provides accommodation and support for homeless teenage girls and young women (the charity will change each collection). 2. Wanoa Four
Sister duo Keri Wanoa and Brooke Strang, based between New Plymouth and Nelson, are behind this new label that aims to "reflect four sisters, who we are and where we come from". They shun fast fashion, with an ethos of being handmade in New Zealand focusing on tailoring and textures. 3. Jojo Ross
The Auckland-based designer brings back the 80s with this structural jacket and trouser combo, from her first collection. Called A Brave New World and based on the idea of retro-futurism, it debuts her conceptual and architectural approach to pattern-making and fashion.
