Another excellent Vietnamese restaurant where there's ample space — perfect for a communal feast. Hansan has several branches around Auckland, including in Newmarket, Panmure and Browns Bay  note that the city and New Lynn restaurants are not BYO, but all the others are.

11. Grand Harbour Chinese Restaurant
This Viaduct favourite specialises in authentic Hong Kong-style dishes, particularly duck and a wide range of seafood. There are about 80 different dim sums available on Grand Harbour's excellent yum cha menu.
