Regatta Bar and Eatery
Following on from last year's epic event, this Bastille Day a delicious six-course winemaker's degustation dinner awaits ($125pp) at Regatta. As part of its sell-out Chef Series, you can expect expertly matched wines from guest winery, France's Mouton Cadet.

L'Atelier du Fromage
You'd be hard-pressed to find a more French dish than the recent regional speciality on the menu, the choucroute de faisan where grilled pheasant breast, sauerkraut, roasted potatoes and a walnut mustard veloute come together in perfect harmony. It goes without saying that you'd be silly not to wash it down with a French vintage or two.

Petit Bocal
With a set menu destined to transport you to France at first bite - from the fig, walnut, prosciutto and goat's cheese starter to the dry aged steak or the fish in a fragrant mussel broth main, cheese course, and for dessert, the crème brûlée or chocolate fondant - this special is not to be missed.

Paris Butter
A go-to for French decadence, from escargot to coq au vin, you'd do well to save a little room for Paris Butter's dessert of dark chocolate cremeux, rosemary icecream, chocolate mousse and spiced chocolate biscuit. Ooh la la indeed.

Eiffel en Eden
Offering you the chance to celebrate with not one, not two, but three ways, Eiffel en Eden will be serving a combo of mini quiche, French onion soup and Paris brest (a beautiful choux pastry with decadent cream filling) for $10 to commemorate this national day.

La Fourchette
Boasting a much-anticipated set menu for Bastille Day as well as for their fourth birthday celebrations on July 15, the offerings at La Fourchette will encompass delicious rustic French dishes. Also keep an eye out for a tri-colour pastry its bakers have been crafting for the special occasion.
