Green Smoothie Bowl Recipe
Try this delicious and healthy chilled smoothie bowl
This week I’ve focused on delicious, healthy recipes to celebrate the change in season. I am a big fan of thick, chilled smoothie bowls, which feel full of goodness. There are endless ways to make these with whatever fruit and vegetables you have on hand.
As cucumbers become cheaper over the coming months you can add them for a crisp fresh taste. The banana in this one gives a smooth consistency and a little sweetness. Avocados are also a favourite option.
GREEN SMOOTHIE BOWL RECIPE
2 kiwifruit, peeled and cut into chunks
2 cups kale, shredded
1 cup coconut water
2 Tbsp chia seeds
½ cup coconut yoghurt
sliced fruit to decorate
1. Place kiwifruit, 1½ cups kale, banana, coconut water, 1 tablespoon chia seeds and coconut yoghurt in a blender and blend until smooth.
2. Pour into serving bowl and place into the freezer for 1 hour to chill completely.
3. Garnish with remaining chia seeds, fruit and a little shredded kale.Share this:
