Here's how to make a gin, java and tonic cocktail

The Bombay Sapphire Nom*D 'Gin, Java & Tonic' cocktail.

To celebrate The Marr Factory 2015, Bombay Sapphire brand ambassador Chase Bickerton has created a series of bespoke cocktails inspired by each designer’s collection. Each will be available at the designer's show throughout the week - but you can replicate them at home with Chase's recipes.

"The layered black and white theme of the Nom*D Longlive collection reminded me of salt & pepper - not necessarily a standout feature but diverse, layered and essential. The lead botanical in this drink, cubeb berries, are grown under the coffee trees in Java, another black and white reference point that came to mind while looking through the collection. This year coffee tonics are massively trending, putting a modern spin on the classic G&T."


  • 30ml Bombay Sapphire
  • 30ml cold drip coffee
  • 10ml cubeb berry syrup
  • 90ml Quina Fina Tonic Water


  1. Build Bombay Sapphire, cold drip coffee and cubeb berry syrup in a large wine glass.
  2. Stir briskly, and top with Quina Fina.
  3. Garnish with orange zest.
