Azabu
Sushi rolls and platters, prawn dumplings and larger dishes like crisp pork belly, teriyaki chicken and Nikkei steak are available from both of Azabu’s Ponsonby and Mission Bay outposts. Baduzzi
Italian favourite Baduzzi has a stellar pick-up and takeout menu that includes deer meatballs with mushrooms, parsnip cream and provolone; maltagliati with braised duck and porcini ragu; figs poached in red wine; and tiramisu with Baileys and Amaretto, to name a few. Bar Celeste
Cantine’s lockdown burgers are on order through Bar Celeste, and they’re selling fast. Try the classic ‘smash burger’, or the onion bhaji, filled with curry leaves, spices, cheese and an extra herby sauce. There’s chocolate chip cookies, too, for biscuit lovers. 146B Karangahape Rd. Cafe Hanoi
Rice paper rolls, noodle salads, work-seared seafood, pork spare ribs and a range of vegan meals are on offer at Vietnamese institution Cafe Hanoi on Friday and Saturday for contactless pick-ups from 4.30pm to 8.30pm. Add hot soy milk doughnuts for an after-meal treat. Pick up is curbside from 27 Galway St; a team member will come to your car.

Cassia
Try your hand at Cassia’s take-home kits (there’s chicken tikka sliders or DIY marinated lamb chops) or dine on their convenient (and decadent) ready-made meals like Delhi duck with lychee and kumara sauce, lamb Seekh kebab curry, or stir-fry paneer. 5 Fort Lane, Auckland Central.

Cazador
Be quick to grab some goat and venison koobideh, fattoush, fries and baklava from carnivore mainstay Cazador. Friday’s kebabs are sold out, but Saturday night’s are still available. Oenophiles, there’s also an “On Call Somm '' service, where a trained in-house sommelier will recommend the perfect bottle from the restaurant’s wine list to pair with your lockdown meal (2pm-5pm daily). 854 Dominion Rd, Mount Eden.

Clay
Wine bar Clay is making a sundry of moreish sourdough pizzas (think aubergine and pickled chilli; bechamel, sausage and onion; burnt onion cream and marinated chard; and vegan marinara), as well as wine, beer and tiramisu. Free pick-up from 5pm onwards, or utilise its $5 home delivery service from 5pm to 10pm (delivery address must be within 5km of Clay). 366 Karangahape Rd.

Coco’s Cantina
Enjoy Italian pizzas, pastas and antipasti from this charming K Rd hot spot. Can’t decide? Try its $55 Lockdown Dinner Meal comprising polenta chips, a margherita pizza, a choice of either spaghetti and meatball or spaghetti alla norma, and a tiramisu. Cotto
The pasta aficionados at Cotto have whipped up a lockdown menu of vegan focaccia; honey balsamic lamb ribs; spinach, goat’s cheese and sage dumplings; tomato and ricotta risotto, and more. East
This newly opened Asian-inspired vegetarian restaurant is serving bites (edamame), small plates (Southern Thai corn cakes, Bang Bang shiitake mushrooms), salads, rice dishes, noodles, curries, and eggplant and tofu mains. East Street Hall
Cooler-than-though canteen and club East Street Hall has chicken shish dinner boxes available to pick-up. They’re filled with harissa-marinated chicken, spiced rice, hummus, green tahini, shug and salad. Call (09) 300 3237 to place your order. 5 East St, Auckland Central.

Ebisu
Pick-up sushi and sashimi platters, dumplings, beef tataki, chicken karaage and more from Japanese restaurant Ebisu. Saturday and Sunday from 5pm. 116–118 Quay St, Auckland Central.

Homeland
Peter Gordan’s new waterfront restaurant-meets-cookery school has its signature cheese scones and a range of other bites on offer for pick-up from 10am (there will be Kedgeree and Turkish eggs on Saturday). 11 Westhaven Dr, Auckland Central.

Ima
Ima has a range of meals to heat or bake at home, from moussaka to vegetarian lasagna, whole-stuffed Berber chicken, or lamb or chicken seniya. Friday and Saturday. Order by sending a DM on Instagram, call (09) 3775252 or email info@imacuisine.co.nz.

Lowbrow

Odettes
Brunch sandwiches are on-menu at Odettes this Saturday from 9am to 2pm, or until they sell out. Pair yours with a smoothie, juice, coffee or a portion of the restaurant’s signature fries-in-a-cup. 90 Wellesley St West, Auckland Central.

Paris Butter
In a dream collab, Paris Butter has teamed up with Giapo for a special dessert selection. Enjoy heat-and-eat mains of snapper fillet or duck leg confit, and finish with Giapo’s delicious Baileys profiteroles. Pick-up and delivery options are available.

Sidart and Sid at the French Cafe
Two of Sid Sarawhat’s three restaurants are available under one roof in this lockdown, with yellow-fin tuna or Spanner crab for entrees, a choice of three mains served with sourdough, butter and a side of greens, a chocolate dessert, or a set tasting box for two people. The Grove
Fine dining restaurant The Grove has put together two meals for two. Choose from either the Carnivore or the Pescatarian, which both come with their famed sticky date pudding. Order online on Friday and Saturday (pick-up and delivery).

Taco Fou
Goodside’s latest pop-up is serving a choice of chicken, pulled pork or jackfruit tacos and quesabirrias. The lunch service is open from 11am to 2pm and dinner is open 5pm to 9pm. Smales Farm, 72 Taharoto Rd, Takapuna.

Toto Pizza
Have a slice and more of Toto’s much-loved pizzas, available for pick-up and delivery on Saturday and Sunday, 5pm to 9:00pm. 5 Hardinge St, Auckland Central.

Williams Eatery
They’re keeping it “simple and tasty” at Williams Eatery with a selection of pitas (sojouk sausage, barbecue chicken, falafel), rolls (variations of egg and cheese), chips (salted vinegar and mayo) and sweets (chocolate chip cookies, hot cross buns).
