Actress Sophie Turner's Beauty Evolution: Her Best Red Carpet Looks

From flame-haired maiden to ice queen – her dramatic hair transformation is quite the Sansa Stark contrast

It's amazing what thick eyeliner and wet-look hair can do for a gal. We hardly recognised a newly-engaged Sophie at the Louis Vuitton Volez Voguez Voyagez exhibition in 2018. This dramatic (yet utterly wearable) look had us inspired to use a black liner to draw a diagonal line from the inner corner of the eye to the iris, colour up to the crease of the eyelid before flicking out at the temple. A dusting of shimmering gold eyeshadow only added to her allure.

Her beau Joe Jonas teased the couple would wed this coming summer, and we're hoping her look at the Roc Nation The Brunch in Los Angeles doubled as her bridal trial. It may be the all-white ensemble, but the angelic vibes Sophie was radiating had us smitten. Her mid-length blonde hair was flipped to one side, with the remainder slicked down behind the other ear. For makeup, delicate brown hues were splashed over eyes, and glossy nude lipstick dressed up lips.

Sophie's resemblance to her Game Of Thrones character Sansa was uncanny at the cult TV show's season 3 premiere in Seattle. All double takes aside, the doe-eyed actress donned a lengthy fishtail braid, silver-toned eye makeup and the kind of light pink lipstick shade that quickly became synonymous with the Teens.

For her first appearance at the Screen Actors Guild awards, Sophie opted for yet another side swept style, this time in the form of tight curls that coiled each other to form a pseudo-ponytail. A deep side parting gave the illusion of a fringe, while the rest of her beauty look celebrated muted purple and blush hues.

If there’s one thing we know to be true, it's that a polished top-knot has the power to rewind time. The starlet appeared fresh-faced and ultra-feminine at the Game Of Thrones season 5 premiere at the San Francisco Opera House, largely thanks to her playful bun and the pretty rose hues adorning eyes, cheeks and lips.

Someone's been working on their poses! A high ponytail was the look de rigueur at the Screen Actors Guild awards in 2016, with Sophie sporting a pony of mermaid proportions. Her makeup look didn't distract from her flowing locks, with a subtle taupe and bronze smoky eye, groomed brows and juicy peach lipstick.

You certainly couldn’t tell from her expression if blondes have more fun, when the smouldering star debuted honeyed locks at the 2017 Screen Actors Guild awards. Porcelain skin offered a perfected base to offset blue-toned red lipstick and lightly fluffed brows.
