Actor Saoirse Ronan's Beauty Evolution: Her Best Red Carpet Looks

The eloquent Irish actor is garnering acclaim in Little Women, and in just over 10 years on the red carpet has learned to ramp up her look

Wow, what a transformation! The 16-year-old is not hiding away anymore. A tousled curl is teamed with a bronze smoky eye and natural glossy lips as she arrives at the 15th annual Critics' Choice Awards in Los Angeles.

She looks poised and elegant with hair up and away from her face. A bold scarlett red lip is the feature of choice tonight, simplified by natural eye makeup and a swipe of mascara to showcase her piercing blue eyes.

Bright lips are key to her beauty look. We're getting the feeling Saoirse's quite enjoying this now. A bright and bold fuchsia pink lip is softened by a delicate curled up-do.

And what a change of scenery, playful Saoirse has been reconfigured into a glamorous rock icon. Her previously natural eye has been accentuated with the use of silver and grey shadow, her lips softened with a peach lipstick and her blonde hair styled into a tussled beach-wave to complete the look.

The statement deep purple lip and slicked back hair is a sophisticated fashion-forward look for the Lady Bird actor as she appears at the 2017 New York Film Critics' Awards. A bold choice but we think she's pulled it off by keeping the eyes fresh and light.

Cutting her long golden locks in favour of a 90s blunt bob for her third Academy Award nomination in 2018 for Best Actress in Lady Bird, the 24-year-old chose a natural look with a rosy pink lip to complement her new do.

Her best look yet at the highly anticipated Little Women preview in Paris. Saoirse shows us she's not in favour of the barely-there French look tonight. Complementing her dress, the actress chose a glossy ruby red lip and a pink eyeshadow. Definitely a nod to fashion's favourite colour scheme right now.

A fresh-faced Saoirse looks completely at home as she takes on her first red carpet event at The Atonement UK premiere in London. A touch of pink shadow, blush and wispy hair is a natural look to begin the young star's career.

On New Zealand soil, Saoirse's breakout performance as Susie Salmon in Peter Jackson's The Lovely Bones brings her to Wellington. Still preferring a natural makeup look, here the actor chooses a smoky-eye with black eyeliner at the center.
