The Dreamiest Bars and Restaurants to Visit

These must-visit colourful restaurants and bars were made for Instagram . . .

Bar Luce, Fondazione Prada, Milan

When director Wes Anderson and designer Miuccia Prada join forces, you know the results are going to be beautiful. The director designed the fit-out for the cafe inside Prada's art museum, with various candy colours, formica furniture, decorative wallpaper and a pink terrazzo floor.

Pietro Nolita, New York

With a menu described as healthy Italian and a fit-out featuring various shades of pink, Pietro Nolita has become a favourite of the fashion set. The napkins are even printed with the phrase, "Pink as F***", and the restaurant's pink-hued Instagram is definitely worth a follow.

The Gallery, Sketch, London

Possibly the most Instagrammed restaurant in the world, Sketch contrasts a playful candy pink interior with the darkly hilarious artwork of David Shrigley lining the walls. Open for afternoon tea and dinner, the space features pink velvet chairs and booths, a chevron-patterned floor and domed roof.

Paris New York, Marais, Paris

The fun interior of this Parisian burger bar was inspired by the lights and beaches of Miami, with shades of turquoise and pink, hanging plants and exposed concrete walls. Chanel was charmed, recently filming a short pastel-hued video featuring model Arizona Muse at the restaurant.

Palm Vaults, London

Like visiting someone's home, this Hackney cafe was seemingly made for Instagram with its Miami-inspired interior: marble-top tables, exposed brick wall and a ceiling covered in hanging plants.

Spring, Somerset House, London

The popular London restaurant of Australian chef Skye Gyngell is housed inside a wing of the dramatic Somerset House, with a fresh, elegant interior and focus on seasonal produce. A dining garden area aims for an 'al fresco' experience, while the main restaurant area is white, light and airy.

Small details make the place sing: pale pink sofas, a marble bar and Valeria Nascimento's porcelain blossoms installation on the walls. Glass 'cloud' chandeliers by Apparatus and leather chairs by Mario Bellini for Cassina add to the swanky feel.
