Stop by iconic Wellington restaurant The Green Parrot and feast on homely meals served with white bread and butter, or sip an espresso with its charming owners, father-and-son team Costa (pictured) and Jimmy Sakoufakis. Stop for a breath of fresh air atop the band rotunda at Oriental Bay and take in the maritime views. The interiors at the Michael Fowler Centre remain unchanged since it opened on Wakefield St in 1983.
