Looks Of The Week 08/03/19

If in doubt, a bit of sharp tailoring goes a long way in this week's coolest looks

QUEEN ELIZABETH II

You can always count on the Queen to brighten up a bleak day, and on this occasion she selected a bright orange coat dress and matching hat to visit the Science Museum to announce its summer exhibition, Top Secret. Keeping the look graphic, she teams this with black gloves and handbag.

Also choosing to wear bright tailoring, America shines in a pink Kate Spade outfit to the NBC And Universal Television's 'Superstore' Academy For Your Consideration Press Line in Hollywood.

In Ireland with Baron Carrickfergus aka The Duke of Cambridge, the couple visited Windsor Park Stadium with Kate wearing a terrific blue Mulberry coat dress.

THOMASIN MCKENZIE

We're excited to see more from emerging New Zealand actress Thomasin, who attened the Miu Miu show at Place d'Iena in Paris during the last day of Paris Fashion Week wearing a look form the label. We particularly like how the contrasting soft frilled collar is spilling out of her sharp wool blazer.

JODIE COMER

She's the kick-ass assasin in Killing Eve, but to collect her award for Entertainer of the Year Award at Stylist's Inaugural Remarkable Women Awards in London, Jodie Comer traded the combat boots and disguises for a chic Casely-Hayford cream suit and Fabio Salini multi-coloured necklace.

NATASHA LYONNE

Another actress we love playing a powerful role in Russian Doll, Natasha shows why we love the attitude of New York's East Village style, where both Natasha and her character Nadia reside. We love the irreverence of this pastel coloured Marc Jacobs suit with Wolford tights and Giuseppe Zanotti heels worn at the The Cut’s How I Get It Done event in Brooklyn.
