A Sneak Preview Of The Moschino x H&M Collection
What to expect from this irreverent designer union between the Swedish giant and Jeremy Scott
While we're counting down to the global launch of H&M's latest designer collection with beloved Italian label Moschino and its creative director Jeremy Scott, here's a sneak preview of some of our highlights from the lookbook, photographed by Marcus Mam. Highlighting men's and womenswear, the collection joins a prestigious alumni of H&M's designer collaborations over the years including Alexander Wang, Balmain, Marni, Maison Martin Margiela, Stella McCartney, Comme des Garcons, Versace, Karl Lagerfeld, Viktor & Rolf, Isabel Marant and Kenzo.
Teasing the new campaign for the collaboration last week starring models Gigi Hadid, Rianne Von Rompaey, Oumie, Valentina Sampaio,Vittoria Ceretti, Leyna Bloom, Soo Joo Park, Imaan Hammam, Yasmin Wijnaldum and New Zealander Stella Maxwell, the campaign is lensed by Steven Meisel and styled by longtime collaborator Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele and is not short of high octane accessories and logo-laden pieces the Moschino brand is synonymous for.
After its previous designer collection with British royalty favourite Erdem, the latest union officially known as Moschino [TV] H&M is a complete contrast, focusing on what Jeremy does best — referencing pop culture, irreverent 90s inspired streetwear and plenty of humour. Not to be missed from the collection is a unique capsule collaboration with Disney (this year celebrating its 90th anniversary) with sweatshirts and t-shirts featuring favourite Disney characters such as Minnie Mouse and Daffy Duck reimagined by Jeremy; alongside Moschino x H&M petwear. The lookbook features a coterie of famous faces modelling the range including Ru Paul’s Drag Race winner Aquaria, model and actress Barbie Ferreira (pictured), Japanese DJ sisters Amiaya and Transgender actress MJ Rodriguez.
The Moschino [TV] H&M collection is available from November 8 and available only at H&M Commercial Bay, Auckland. 0800 406 700
