Style File: The Evolution Of Miss Piggy's Glamorous Style

The forthcoming ‘Muppets Now’ on Disney Plus is perfect reason to explore the enduring elegance of one of the world’s biggest divas

1991: Old-Hollywood

Miss Piggy’s love of old-school glamour is no secret, and here we see a very classic Miss Piggy wearing a sorbet pink gown embellished with sequins and feathers in Jim Henson’s The Great Muppet Caper alongside her significant other, Kermit The Frog. She completes the look with signature pearls, pink satin gloves and a corsage – more is definitely more in her style book.

2005: Prada Piggy

Wearing a seminal Prada collection, Miss Piggy transforms into a more high-fashion look from the Italian label’s spring/summer 2005 collection, and showcases why her versatility has won her approval from the fashion world over the years. Miss Piggy modelled the look for the popular Colette department store, which has now sadly closed its doors.

2016: Model Muse

The late Kate Spade tapped Miss Piggy to front the brand’s holiday ad campaign that year alongside Jourdan Dunn and Catherine Baba – and she also got her own collection too.
