ANGELINA JOLIE

Making a rare appearance on the red carpet at the Eternals premiere to support her role in the film, Angelina wears this Balmain RE22 gown with vintage Tiffany & Co. jewels, styled by Jason Bolden and makeup by L.A.-based New Zealand makeup extraordinaire Amber Dreadon.

The dress feels very much on brand — minimal with a slight edge. She completes the look with a 14-carat gold ‘chin-cuff’ by Texan designer Nina Berenat. Even more special, Angelina’s kids turned up in tow, with Zahara and Shiloh in particular wearing vintage dresses once worn by their mother to previous events.

ZENDAYA

Meanwhile in London at the premiere of Dune, the film’s main star Zendaya opts for this typically sculptural gown from Rick Owens, accessorised with jewels from the Bulgari Serpenti collection. It’s great to see Zendaya enjoy fashion, but even more so when we see a brand that doesn’t often get the red-carpet moment it truly deserves.

THE DUCHESS & DUKE OF CAMBRIDGE

Re-wearing something from her closet, the Duchess chose this lavender dress she wore in 2011 at an awards show, and gives it a fresh update with an embellished belt for the 2021 Earthshot Prize in London. On hosting duties with her husband, Prince William was equally impressive in a relaxed ensemble, wearing a plush velvet green blazer over a skivvy.

EMMA WATSON

Also at the Earthshot Prize in London, Emma wears this Harris Reed dress-over-trousers look, a flared shape quickly becoming a signature silhouette for the promising young designer. The actor, who is a known advocate for sustainable fashion and was presenting an award at the event, chose an upcycled gown made out of former wedding dresses donated to Oxfam.

KUMAIL NANJIANI

It was a big night for the Pakistani-American comedian, actor and screenwriter, as the first Pakistani actor to enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Attending the Los Angeles Premiere of Marvel Studios' Eternals, Kumail wears this sherwani with purple and gold paisley patterns by Pakistani designer Umar Sayeed. “I wanted the colours to be similar to my costume colours," Nanjiani told the Hollywood Reporter. "Purple and gold are a beautiful combination. The paisley pattern is very traditional as well.”

TAIKA WAITITI

Fresh from beaming live in support of last weekend’s Vaxathon, Taika sharpens up for the Eternals premiere wearing a classic grey Tom Browne suit complete with no socks. Taika has just wrapped up the sequel to Thor: Ragnarok, Thor: Love and Thunder (scheduled for May 2022 release), and is locked in to write, direct and executive produce two animated series for Netflix based on Roald Dahl's children's novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

TIMOTHEE CHALAMET

It’s been a busy past few weeks for the actor on the promo trail for his latest film, Dune, starring alongside another young Hollywood clotheshorse, Zendaya. At a photocall in London, Timothee selects this joyful Stella McCartney print suit, matched well with a pair of white boots.

JOSH O’CONNOR

It seems Josh’s innate sense of style continues to get better with time, wearing a smart look from Loewe, and styled by Harry Lambert, at the premiere of his new film, Mothering Sunday, at the 16th Rome Film Festival.
