WIN: Tickets To Coronet Peak’s Birthday Celebrations With G.H.Mumm

Make a toast to this famous location.

Coronet Peak, New Zealand’s first commercial ski field, is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year. Having launched in July 1947 with a single tow rope, it's now considered New Zealand’s go-to winter sports destination, just 25 minutes from central Queenstown. For the Coronet Peak team and community, it's a chance to recognise the 75 years of operation and the people who have dreamt, built and enjoyed the Peak for decades. The month of August sees celebrations get into full swing, with a range of events from straight ski racing, to a night ski party.

Champagne house G.H.Mumm will also toast to the 75th anniversary of Coronet Peak with a series of exquisite dining experiences across three days.

First up is a Champagne Brunch at Heidi’s Hut in Rocky Gully (August 18) - the ultimate après ski experience that will see guests enjoy a delectable menu overlooking the slopes.

On August 19, G.H.Mumm will host a classic long lunch on the deck where the best tunes and entertainment will be provided in the form of a retro fashion parade. It'll be a chance to sit back, relax and enjoy each other’s company after a jam-packed morning of shredding on the mountains.

To top off the extravaganza, on August 20 a final black-tie gala dinner will be held in partnership with G.H.Mumm at Coronet Peak to celebrate the history, mountain and community. Attendees will spend the evening reminiscing over key moments from the last 75 years with the figures who hold those memories dear.

It’s destined to be an extended weekend full of history, enjoyment, glitz and glamour après style – and Viva has tickets to the experience to give away!
