With myriad events around the 36th America’s Cup presented by Prada kicking off from December 17 in the Hauraki Gulf and Waitemata Harbour, Auckland’s Viaduct is the place to be this summer so much so that G.H.Mumm is opening a dedicated Champagne bar for the duration of the event.

The aptly titled Mumm Yacht Club is popping up on Te Wero Island in the heart of the America’s Cup Race Village; from December 15 until March 21 patrons can soak up the sailing, enjoy the sun, and indulge in a glass (or bottle) of G.H. Mumm’s famous Champagne.

Maison Mumm is the official champagne partner of the 36th America's Cup, and Mumm Yacht Club offers a luxurious way to enjoy the racing with a full-service G.H.Mumm Champagne bar, an outdoor area perfect for summer afternoons, and space dedicated to the theatrics of sabrage and a garden bar, while upstairs is a private hosting suite serving RSRV (G.H.Mumm's most exclusive Champagne range).

Champagne will be available by both glass and bottle, and there will be Champagne cocktails, wine, premium spirits and non-alcoholic beverages to enjoy.

The Mumm Yacht Club follows the release of Maison Mumm's ultra-chic limited edition Grand Cordon Cuvée for the 36th America's Cup and, naturally, these stylish bottles will naturally be available at the bar.

Speaking of style, the dress code is ‘Yacht Club Smart Casual’ so make sure your Breton top and white linens are crisp and fresh.
